The Inspiration:

Design by our family, for your family.  Gorgtech larp sporting equipment is made in the USA by a small family business.  Our kids grew up watching us swing foam and dream big.  They helped design these cool sets to bring fun to your family.

Raptor, our son, chose these size and styles based on his experience sword fighting at school, church, and at the park. He ultimately prefers the bigger 24″ punch shield.  But there is never space in our trunk for 4 bigger shields and the swords.  The 16″ punch shield is perfect for some easy defense.  He recommends bat over the sword.  It’s omni striking surface is safer in the hands of over-excited youngsters.  However, the fiberglass swords are available for those that prefer the classic sword look.

Our daughter role plays as DREA THE DRAGON.  She begged for both a fire dragon and sea serpent.  We all agreed that adding a mermaid and unicorn balanced the mythical creatures set.  In the end, the mermaid is actually our daughter’s favorite!  Each animal is color coded with a weapon that matches the side panel.  This way everyone knows which weapon set is theirs.  We recommend a kid sword fighting set for your family or just the children.  Adult supervision is always recommended.  And if you’re over 16 years old, these boffers are also dagorhir legal.  Have fun and enjoy the fresh air outside 🙂
