2025 Update
The crazy core is a keeper at the 60″ length. We re-tested the crazy at the 65″ length but it still snapped for heavier hitters. The 60″ crazy flat and omnis are equally beautiful. The cores are exclusively made for Gorg The Blacksmith. Reblade the omni with a blue tube. Photos are finally up to date with comparison images and data charts.
2023 Update
The true story is that we stumbled upon this weapon. Some great things happen by mistake. This core was a prototype for the new popular Barbarian Blade. However, it just wasn’t strong enough at 65 inches. No big deal, the barbarian core does a great job! The problem arose when Lady Gorg mistakenly ordered a large batch of this core to be custom-made. OOPS! No big deal we thought, we’ll find something to do with it later. Unfortunately, when later came, Lady Gorg ordered the same wrong prototype core again! Never has she felt so crazy! She told Gorg, “You’re the best… make something great with these.” And he did not disappoint. We now order these on purpose, but we still call them the crazy core because of the origin story. Thankfully, foam fighters really need a lighter-weight option for a 60″ two-handed red weapon. The prototype order may have been by mistake, but the design was intentional. As a bonus, the flex is reasonable, safe, and consistent. It is a much better alternative to the 60″ fiberglass which sometimes fails for flex.
2022 Testing
The Crazy Carbon sold in person only in 2022. Fighters gave it much praise at Bloodied Downs, Okfest and Winter War. You can see the weapon in some of the tournament footage on our youtube channel. We had no returns, refunds, or unexplained breakages in 2022. This new weapon gets the gorg seal of approval for both weight, durability, and safety. The only trouble you’ll have is choosing if you want a flat, an omni, or both 🙂

Hands down my favorite weapon. I get so many nasty, fast, accurate shots with this thing, even in larger battles. Its light enough to one hand and devastating for cracking shields.
